Kudumbasthan Plot
The story is of a middle-class man named Naveen who lives in Coimbatore with his wife Vennila and their parents. Due to caste differences, Naveen and Vennila got married despite being from two different families. Vennila’s parents reject her, and Naveen’s mother is constantly berating her marriage. Soon after completion of his previous projects, the development of Kudumbasthan began. The screenplay was written by director Rajeshwar Kalisamy, who had achieved fame as a member of the Nakkalites YouTube channel, in collaboration with Prasanna Balachandran.
They wanted to make a family entertainer that was grounded in realism, but was also funny and emotional. The movie was the Tamil debut of Telugu actress Saanve Meghana.
