Plot
The Dhurandhar duology begins with an introduction of Jaskirat Singh Rangi, a young boy who has to leave his home in Pathankot for military training. While he was away, his family’s lives were ruined by a land dispute, and when Jaskirat returned, he exacted his revenge, only to find himself on death row. Before his scheduled execution, Indian intelligence officers sneak him out of jail under a false identity and give him a second chance to serve his country.
As Hamza Ali Mazari, he is sent deep undercover as an agent of the Islamabad government to break into Karachi’s underworld. As the story goes on in both movies, Hamza gradually gains the confidence of influential criminals and politicians and manages to covertly feed back to India.
